**We have an IMMEDIATE OPENING in our Watertown, SD office.**

Infrastructure Design Group, Inc. is a civil engineering and land surveying services firm providing professional services to public and private clients in the southeast South Dakota region. We provide professional engineering, surveying, and consulting services to local municipalities, county and state DOT’s, and other state departments, as well as private sector clients. We have an immediate opening for a full time Civil Engineering Project Engineer located in our Watertown, SD office.

Primary duties of the Civil Project Engineer include working with other engineers, surveyors, and technicians to complete engineering studies and designs, drawings, layouts, maps, and graphic representations of engineering designs using computer-aided drafting software. Work also entails field investigations and inspections. We are interested in a motivated individual capable of taking on multiple responsibilities as a team player. The position will focus on civil engineering design of transportation, municipal, and private development type projects.

Qualifications

Civil Project Engineer position requires a BS degree in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 4 years of related design/engineering and/or project management experience. A South Dakota Professional Engineer license is preferred but not required. Knowledge of DOT and/or typical municipal standards and competence with AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D. Requires proven technical knowledge to complete technical analysis and engineering designs.

The ideal candidate shall be self-motivated, organized, able to communicate effectively both written and orally, able to work in a team environment, and have strong interpersonal skills. We offer a competitive salary and benefit package and is negotiable based on qualifications and experience.
