Job Summary

Hazard Community and Technical College invites applications for the position of Computer Aided Drafting and Design / Surveying Instructor. The Computer Aided Drafting and Design / Surveying Instructor will provide instruction to and advising services for students in the program and students interested in the program.

Job Duties:

Duties will include, but not limited to:
Deliver instruction, instructional activities and prepare learning materials and lab projects for all CADD/Surveying Program courses each semester in accordance with approved curriculum.
Maintain and manage a class/lab of training of students. Serve as advisor for assigned program students, maintain records and reports on student attainment, attendance, activity, and progress.
Complete instructional support processes such as syllabi development, maintenance of supplies for labs and tool rooms, course assessments, and classroom organization.
Participate in professional development and community service related to the program.
Serve as Program Coordinator which includes such duties as daily student support for the program; managing program budget; prepare and present the program review; updating course curriculum; and assessment activities.
Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

Associate degree in the discipline preferred and/or six years related experience. Excellent skills in verbal and written communication, as well as computer skills.
