About the Role

The Design Engineer plays a critical role in supporting the manufacturing process by creating working designs of custom equipment while considering customer requirements, Eagle manufacturing processes, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. This role requires a highly detail-oriented individual with CAD experience, strong problem solving skills, and the ability to work independently.

Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent

Formal education in CAD software (OnShape, PTC Creo, Solid Works preferred)

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with custom product engineering or manufacturing projects.

Associate’s degree in engineering or related technical field preferred

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and develop design solutions to meet customers’ needs.

Create working models and shop drawings utilizing 3D CAD software.

Prepare and maintain Bills of Material (BOMs) for custom designs in support of manufacturing and MRP requirements

Interpret approved submittals drawings, project specifications, industry standards, manufacturing processes, and regulatory standards to create manufacturing documents for fabrication.

Maintain organized and accurate engineering files and records within company systems

Collaborate with teams inside and outside Eagle to clarify and outline design details.

Continue to drive innovation across operations
