Description
Team Fishel , the Best Choice Employer in the utility construction business, is hiring a CAD Technician for our Professional Services Group's (PSG) Chesapeake, VA office.
The CAD Technician will be responsible for working closely with the engineering, right of way, land survey and permitting staff to produce high quality graphics and be able to verbally communicate specifications and directions to and from the design team.
The knowledge, skills, abilities, and experiences that are required for entry into this job include the following:
  • AutoCAD knowledge, experience, and skills
  • Complete markups
  • Report graphics preparation
  • Set-up and prepare plans
  • Provide assistance with submittals
  • Experience with electrical distribution design and/or utility design a plus
  • Maintain QA/QC processes and requirements
  • Ability to travel regionally between PSG offices
