Job description

CORE MISSION: Professional Engineers are responsible for assessment, planning, evaluation, design, permitting and construction support for a wide range of infrastructure projects, including transportation, water and wastewater, flood control, energy and site development. Professional Engineers use their training, education, experience, and professional judgement to prepare designs, provide direction, make decisions, and be in responsible charge of the resources and processes to meet the standard of care.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • A bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field is required; an advanced degree is beneficial.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
SKILLS amp; UNDERSTANDING:
  • Proficiency with industry-specific software like AutoCAD Civil 3D and other CAD tools.
  • Competency in research, calculations, design, detailing, cost estimating and technical writing.
  • Ability to prepare comprehensive construction documents.
  • Ability to interpret record drawings, construction documents, specifications and as-built documents.
  • Capability to perform technical reviews, follow quality assurance plans and execute quality control processes.
  • Ability to problem-solve, communicate and collaborate with peers and project stakeholders.
EXPECTATIONS FOR THE "LEAD" TITLE
  • Are reliable problem solvers with consistent and complete abilities across categories of project planning, technical aptitude and teamwork.
  • Has at least 7 years of relevant experience.
LOCATION
  • This position is in person in Clovis, California and requires local travel for meetings and site visits.
