Job description

Under the supervision of the Engineering Manager, the CAD Operator performs a variety of design/drafting activities including the origination of and updates to existing engineered drawings for use in our manufacturing facility. ResponsibilitiesPrepare dimensional drawings, installation drawings, piping diagrams and general arrangement drawings.Revise and update existing drawings reflecting design changesReview blueprints, plans, specifications, and other customer documentation if necessaryServe as an information source on planning and design of equipment and manufactured itemsMaintain notes, design calculations and other documentation in accordance with the document retention policies set by the Engineering Manager.Other duties as required relating to CAD database RequirementsAssociate's Degree in Mechanical Drafting/ CAD Design Proficient with SolidWorks software platformProven organizational and time management skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite productsHigh attention to detail Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environmentAbility to work with minimal supervision This job description is intended to convey information essential to understanding the scope of the job and the general nature and level of work performed within this job.
