Job Description AutoCAD Hours: Monday thru Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm Step into a stable, long-term role where your AutoCAD expertise directly shapes construction and fabrication outcomes for diverse projects in Tulsa. This is a permanent position with a focus on precision drafting for civil, structural, mechanical, and food service applications, offering the chance to deepen your skills in a technically demanding environment. About the Role: In this role, you will produce accurate, well-organized construction and fabrication drawings that support engineers, architects, and project teams.

You will be responsible for translating design concepts and blueprints into clear, build-ready CAD documents, ensuring compliance with industry standards. Your work will have a direct impact on project quality, efficiency, and coordination across disciplines. Key Responsibilities: Create detailed civil, structural, and mechanical AutoCAD drawings for construction and fabrication.

Interpret engineering and architectural blueprints and convert them into precise CAD models and layouts. Develop and maintain 2D and 3D AutoCAD models, including assemblies and components. Produce accurate sheet metal layouts and fabrication drawings suitable for manufacturing.

Prepare food service drawings, including equipment layouts and coordination with building services. Manage layers, blocks, and drawing organization to maintain clear, consistent CAD standards. Maintain CAD file management and version control, ensuring correct revisions are used and archived.

Apply relevant industry-specific CAD standards (e.g., AIA, DOT) to all drawings and documentation. Key Requirements: Minimum 2 years' experience working with AutoCAD in a professional drafting or design environment. Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand how parts and assemblies fit and function

Proven ability to interpret and work from engineering and architectural blueprints. Demonstrated skill in layer management, drawing organization, and CAD standards implementation. Experience creating accurate construction and fabrication drawings for real-world projects.

Hands-on experience with AutoCAD 3D modeling for components and systems. Familiarity with CAD file management practices, including version control and revision tracking. Ability to consistently produce precise, error-free drawings within project deadlines.

Strong Communication Skills Experience with sheet metal layout and detailing for fabrication shops. Desirable Skills: Background in food service equipment layouts and coordination with building infrastructure. Knowledge of AIA, DOT, or other industry-specific CAD standards used in civil and structural work.

Exposure to multi-disciplinary project environments involving engineers, architects, and contractors. Ability to adapt existing drawings and standards to new project requirements efficiently.
