Job description

Job Summary

As the market share leader in exterior automotive lighting, NAL provides advanced lighting technology, engineering design expertise, and state-of-the-art production capabilities to auto makers based in North America and around the world.  

Our Opportunity 

North American Lighting (NAL) is looking for a Production Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will supervise and coordinate the activities of the departmental processes and personnel within the assigned manufacturing function.  

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Your Priorities 

  • Supervises the process and all employees in the department. 
  • Schedules the workload for all employees in the department. 
  • Ensures manufacturing process in the department meets all production and quality requirements. 
  • Performs recordkeeping for various aspects of the manufacturing process, as required. 
  • Addresses all production emergencies and any requests from other department supervisors in a responsible and professional manner. 
  • Monitors safety within the department on a continual basis, and holds monthly safety meetings with employees. 

The salary range for this position is $57,500 - $83,000 per year. Final compensation will be determined by location, skills, experience, qualifications, and the career level at which the position is filled.

Requirements

Your Background 

High School diploma or GED, plus 5 years of manufacturing experience with 3 years in a supervisory or team lead role. 

Associate degree in a business or technical field related to manufacturing, and experience with JIT production system, TPM, and Kaizen implementation is preferred.
