Job Description

Ability to create and update AUTOCAD drawings.ย 

Ability to create 3D models using additive manufacturing equipment.ย 

Ability to revise engineering drawings from basic layouts, established references, notes and discussions with engineers, and standard data.ย 

Utilize computer-aided design equipment and/or manual tools.ย 

Complete layout drawings prepared by others in accordance with standard engineering drafting practices or may develop complete major layouts of engineering drawings.ย 

Prepare detailed drawings; contributes design modifications (as needed) to improve quality of product.ย 

Technical knowledge and experience with AutoCAD software and CAD standards required. Ability to prioritize multiple projects/tasks and respond to the needs of multiple project managers. Requires knowledge, skills associated with the mechanical and electrical disciplines.ย 

Well versed in developing mechanical drawings.ย 

Understanding of and experienced in proper drawing dimensioning.ย 

Understanding of and experience in proper weld nomenclature.ย 

Ability to work as part of a team in a fast paced environment with critical deadlinesย 

Professional, dependable, and results oriented.ย 

Ability to follow simple oral or written instructions.ย 

Strong organizational skill and detail oriented.ย 

Strong oral and written communication skills.ย 

Good problem solver with the ability to identify alternative solutions.ย

Qualifications

Qualifications/Minimum Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent. Associated degree preferred.

3+ years of AutoCAD (AutoDesk) experience or other CAD software.

2+ years of Solidworks experience or other 3D Modeling software.

Valid driver's license.

Strong Mechanical aptitude.

Must be self-directed.
