Job Description

Support personnel in areas of Process, Simulation and CAD as required. Assure deliverables meet the standard work requirements and pass-fail criteria of Cosma Die Technology.

Functions (In Detail)

  • Maintain CAD data in an organized and identifiable state for data tracking, storage, and transfer purposes compliant to CDT system and structure
  • Track and resolve all customer issues in a timely manner with the support of Cosma Die Technology engineering and management team
  • Support manager to ensure projects meet all Cosma Die Technology / Cosma standards, Customer specific standards and Customer requirements to fullfill scope of work and timming
  • Comply with all Cosma Die technology rules and regulations all company policies, rules and regulations
  • Coordinate with Management and Personnel to identify areas of continuous improvement for provided services
  • Assist and support immediate and indirect supervisors as requested

  • Understanding of Springback, ability to analyze results, and create Compensated CAD to counteract it
  • Understanding of GD&T & Dimensional Requirements
  • Working knowledge of Engineering Release systems
  • Ability to use network or PC based computer systems (Microsoft preferred)
  • Expert Knowledge of stamping formability simulation using Autoform Software,
  • Expert Knowledge of CAD surfacing and Construction techniques in Catia
  • Die design experience considered to be an asset, although not required.
