Overview
Continental Electronics Corporation is a leading provider of RF technologies and innovative solutions with 80 years of proven performance. The Autodesk PDM & CAD Administrator is a senior level individual contributor responsible for the technical management of Engineering department tools including but not limited to Computer-Aided Design (CAD) systems, GitLab, and Altium, ensuring their efficient and effective operation, and providing technical support to users. The Engineering Technology Manager is the technical expert for modeling and drawing standards and manages the Product Data Management (PDM) library.
Responsibilities
  • Implements and administers Engineering CAD and other software applications and systems
  • Investigates, confirms, and develops current and new CAD operation flows for end users to increase productivity and system effectiveness
  • Works closely with Engineering Management to ensure coordinated PLM software updates, useable functionality, testing and user training
  • Create and maintain CAD standards, design libraries, guidelines, and templates by closely collaborating with users in engineering
  • Regularly acts as Product Owner for PLM and CAD development tools
  • Develops technical system documentation for current and newly implemented systems
  • Participates in projects to enhance Engineering and CAD software and hardware systems by investigating, evaluating and implementing technical solutions

Qualifications
  • Associate or Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering, Design, Information Systems, CAD Drafting, or a related field preferred
  • 8 years of experience of CAD experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge of industry design and documentation standards
  • Knowledge of Computer-Aided Design (CAD) systems, GitLab, and Altium
  • Expertise in advanced solid modeling (Autodesk Inventor preferred)
  • Experience creating engineering drawings using feature-based CAD systems (preferably Inventor)
  • Experience with drafting principles and Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) in accordance with ASME Y14.5
  • Proficient in SQL server administration (for Vault Workgroup preferred)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work outside of core business hours as required
  • Must be able to obtain DoD Security Clearance
  • Proficiency in the use of JIRA preferred

Pay may range from $146,000 to $154,100 annually
The pay range above represents annual base salary only. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as your job level, geographic location, date of hire, experience, job-related knowledge and skills, and education in conjunction with market and business considerations.
Base salary is one component of your total rewards package. You may be eligible for long-term incentives, potential discretionary bonuses, and the ability to purchase company stock at a discounted rate through the Employee Stock Purchase Program (ESPP). OSI also offers comprehensive benefits including various options for health plans, access to 401(k) retirement plan, health savings account, disability insurance, life insurance, AD&D insurance, leave of absence programs and an array of voluntary benefits.
