Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented CAD Designer to join our innovative engineering team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in computer-aided design (CAD) software to create precise, detailed, and comprehensive technical drawings and models. Your work will support various projects across construction, mechanical design, and building information modeling (BIM), ensuring that all designs meet project specifications and industry standards. Duties

  • Develop accurate 2D schematics and detailed 3D CAD models using industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, Autocad Plant 3D, NavisWorks, or other CAD tools.
  • Create and refine mechanical drafting and engineering CAD documentation for diverse projects, ensuring clarity and precision in all drawings.
  • Prepare comprehensive CAD schematics, layouts, and assembly drawings that adhere to project requirements and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with engineers, or Senior Designers, and construction teams to translate conceptual ideas into detailed technical designs suitable for manufacturing or construction.
  • Conduct 3D CAD modeling to visualize complex components or structures, supporting design validation and client presentations.
  • Maintain organized CAD files and documentation for easy retrieval and version control throughout project lifecycles.


Qualifications

  • Proven experience with CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, SolidWorks, SketchUp, NavisWorks or similar platforms.
  • Strong background in mechanical drafting and engineering CAD design with a focus on construction or manufacturing projects.
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling and building information modeling (BIM) tools for integrated project delivery.
  • Knowledge of schematics creation, CAD detailing, and technical documentation standards.
