Job description

BioTherm has an immediate opening for a highly motivated and detail-oriented CAD design technician. We are an established manufacturer of hydronic heating, cooling, and dehumidification systems for the global commercial horticultural market.

Example of duties:

  • Works independently on design projects and manufacturing initiatives within a collaborative and design-oriented, supportive team culture.
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills and experience in coordinating with mechanical engineering teams.
  • Assist CAD manager with developing CAD standards.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Proficient in AutoCAD 3D (5 years preferred)
  • Experienced with mechanical systems including piping design, hydronics, sheet metal.
  • Strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work with a variety of trades and professional personnel to coordinate accomplishment of complex tasks within deadlines and resolve problems.
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments and manage priorities.
  • Basic understanding of electronics, electrical systems, and instrumentation.
