Job description

The Washington State Department of Transportation seeks a Multimodal Transportation Engineer (TE3) to provide advanced technical engineering design and analysis for the North Central Region Planning Office in Wenatchee. The role involves developing multimodal transportation improvement concepts, conducting engineering analyses, creating cost estimates, and leading planning studies that address corridor and active transportation needs. The engineer will coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to support the planning and design process for transportation improvements.

Key qualifications:
  • Advanced knowledge of transportation engineering principles, federal and state laws, regulations, and standards; experience developing cost estimates and conceptual diagrams
