Job Responsibilities

Responsible for analyzing project requirements, preparing accurate cost estimates, and supporting operational planning to ensure projects are delivered within budget and timelines.

  • Estimate, prepare and email quotations.
  •  Interpret drawings and work with sales team to prepare proposals.
  •  Assist in preparing subcontract & materials inquiries and review subsequent quotations.
  •  Effectively communicate with suppliers, customers, and co-workers to obtain information necessary to complete pre-quoting tasks both via email and telephone.
  •  Identify material and time requirements by communicating with estimating team and the customer.
  •  Engagement with existing customers and suppliers to develop strong commercial and  meaningful relationships. 
  • Demonstrate credibility with customers by engaging in discussions to support with engineering and technical enquiries.
  •  Provide general administration and engineering assistance as required. 
Job Requirements
  • Engineering or business degree preferred but not essential.
  •  Minimum of 2 years estimating experience
  • Highly proficient in CAD and other related software.
  •  Ability to work independently and in a team.
  •  A clear communicator.
  •  Exceptional time management.
  •  Strong multi-tasking and organizational management skills. 
  • Proven experience in a diverse range of projects would be preferred.
