Company Description
Dark Threat Fabrication LLC is a family-owned precision metal fabrication and engineering company located in Heber Springs, AR. We have state-of-the-art equipment, software, and an amazing team dedicated to producing high-quality parts in small or large quantities. We offer a range of services including Tube Laser, CNC Milling, Fiber Laser Cutting, Brake Press Forming, Engineering, Design, Powder coating, and Welding. We are ISO 9001:2015 Certified.
Role Description
Builds accurate, competitive quotes for custom metal fabrication and powder coating jobs — reading customer prints, pricing the work, and aligning every quote with manufacturability and production capacity. This is a quoting/cost-estimating role, not a CAD design role.

Core Responsibilities

●      Read and interpret customer-supplied prints, drawings, and RFQ specifications.
●      Build cost estimates covering material, laser time, press brake, welding labor, machining, outside processing, and powder coating.
●      Prepare and issue quotes through Fulcrum Pro, including pricing, lead time, and terms.
●      Utilize Paperless Parts and other quoting software as needed.
●      Work with production and shop leads to confirm manufacturability, capacity, and lead times before a quote goes out.
●      Maintain pricing standards, rate sheets, and historical job cost data.
●      Follow up with sales/customers on open quotes; track win/loss.
●      Flag any RFQ involving ITAR/export-controlled technical data per company policy.
Qualifications
●      Computer / CAD skills preferably 3D.
●      Trade/technical school with print-reading ability, OR 2–4 years hands-on experience in metal fabrication, machining, welding, or estimating — no four-year engineering degree required.
●      Ability to read mechanical/fabrication drawings, including basic GD&T, weld symbols, and tolerances.
●      Familiarity with laser cutting, press brake forming, welding (MIG/TIG), and powder coating.
●      Comfortable with computers and quoting/ERP software; Fulcrum Pro a plus.
●      Strong basic math skills and attention to detail; clear customer-facing communication.
●      Must be a U.S. Person under ITAR (22 C.F.R. § 120.62), or otherwise authorized under export control regulations.
