Survey CAD Technician

Location: Pottstown, PA

A well-established, award-winning civil engineering and land surveying consulting firm is seeking an experienced Survey CAD Technician to join its growing survey team in Pottstown, PA.

This is an excellent opportunity for a CAD professional who enjoys transforming field data into accurate, high-quality survey deliverables while working alongside experienced surveyors and engineers. You'll contribute to a wide variety of projects spanning land development, municipal, commercial, and transportation work using modern surveying technology and AutoCAD Civil 3D.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Prepare boundary surveys, existing conditions plans, topographic surveys, route surveys, deed plots, and other survey deliverables.
  • Import and process survey field data within AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Create accurate base maps, surfaces, profiles, and cross sections.
  • Prepare and revise municipal tax maps.
  • Ensure all drawings meet company CAD standards and quality expectations.
  • Coordinate with survey field crews and project managers to produce accurate, timely deliverables.
  • Maintain organized project files and documentation.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience as a Survey CAD Technician or in a similar surveying role.
  • Strong proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D (2D and 3D).
  • Experience working with survey points, point groups, surfaces, feature lines, and survey data.
  • Understanding of land surveying principles and survey plan preparation.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate work.
  • Experience with MicroStation is a plus but not required.
  • Associate's degree or technical training is preferred but equivalent experience will also be considered.
