Drawing on 30 years of combined experience, the studio is equipped to meet the regionโ€™s high expectations for innovative, high-quality design. Each project is treated as a chance to explore new ideas and tailored design solutions. VSOL emphasizes close, collaborative partnerships with clients to create interiors that are visually striking, functional, and thoughtfully detailed.


Role Description CAD Designer is a part-time, on-site role based in the South Bay Area. This role focuses on turning design concepts into precise technical and construction drawings that support residential interior projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing CAD models and plans, preparing detailed documentation for contractors and consultants, and updating drawings as designs evolve. The CAD Designer will coordinate closely with interior designers to ensure all plans reflect design intent, building standards, and project timelines. Additional activities include organizing project files, supporting site measurements and field verification, and collaborating with the team to refine design solutions.


Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools and workflows.
  • Ability to create accurate Technical Drawing and Construction Drawings for interior projects.
  • Solid foundation in Drawing and visual representation to translate design concepts into clear plans.
  • Experience with Design principles relevant to interiors and architectural detailing.
