About the Role

We're seeking a Survey CAD Technician to join our team in a fully in-office role focused on drafting and plan production. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys detailed CAD work and wants to contribute to both surveying and civil engineering projects.

What You'll Do

  • Draft boundary, topographic, ALTA, and construction survey plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D (and/or Carlson).
  • Prepare civil/site drawings to support engineering projects as needed.
  • Process and manage field data from GPS and total station crews.
  • Coordinate with surveyors, engineers, and project managers to ensure accurate and efficient workflows.
  • Conduct deed and map research in support of boundary resolution.
  • Maintain organized drawing files and contribute to drafting standards.

What We're Looking For

  • 2-7+ years of CAD drafting experience in surveying and/or civil engineering.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D (Carlson experience a plus).
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and quality control in drafting.
  • Ability to work effectively on a variety of project types in a fast-paced office environment.
  • Self-motivated, collaborative, and eager to contribute to project success.
