Summary
We're looking for an Electrical CAD Designer to support energy, infrastructure, industrial, and related projects. This role is a great fit for someone with strong AutoCAD Electrical skills, electrical drafting experience, and an interest in growing their electrical design knowledge.
You do not need experience with every tool or drawing type listed, however AutoCAD Electrical experience is highly favorable. If you can perform basic design, follow redlines, produce accurate drawings, and are open to learning additional design platforms, we encourage you to apply.
What You'll Do
  • Create and update electrical drawings in AutoCAD Electrical, including schematics, single-lines, panel layouts, wiring diagrams, cable routing plans, and related details.
  • Turn engineering direction, sketches and red lines into clear project deliverables.
  • Collaborate, both in person and remotely, with engineers, project managers, and other disciplines to support project delivery.
  • Review drawings for accuracy, consistency, and alignment with project standards.

What We're Looking For
  • 3+ years of electrical CAD design, drafting, or related technical drafting experience.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical.
  • Experience with electrical drawings such as schematics, layouts, single-lines, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, or cable routing plans.
  • Ability to interpret direction, ask good questions, follow redlines, and produce accurate work.
  • Strong attention to detail, communication, organization, and willingness to learn.

Nice to Have
  • Experience with EPLAN, Bentley tools, MicroStation, Revit, Civil 3D, or other 3D CAD/BIM platforms.
  • Electrical design experience in industrial, utility, infrastructure, MEP, water/wastewater, oil and gas, commercial, healthcare, residential, or similar environments.
  • Familiarity with NEC, ANSI/IEEE, or similar industry standards.
