Job Summary:
Alliance Group is seeking an experienced, self-direct full-time Mechanical Engineer based in Essex Junction, VT to join our growing team.

In this role, you will design and develop high quality heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, while creating technical drawings and plans using CAD software. Individuals must demonstrate excellent communication skills, as well as an aptitude for problem solving, time management, and customer service.
  • Designing and analyzing HVAC systems to ensure they meet both client needs and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with other senior engineers to evaluate system performance, energy efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Prepare detailed HVAC system layouts, schematics, and other technical drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, or similar CAD software.
  • Review and revise HVAC plans and drawings to ensure accuracy, clarity, and adherence to building codes and regulations.
  • Work closely with project managers, engineers, architects, and other team members to ensure seamless integration of HVAC systems into overall building designs.
  • Participate in design meetings, site visits, field coordination, and other support services as needed
  • Reviewing contractor submittals and coordinating with vendors and suppliers for materials and equipment.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Building Systems Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience) required
  • Professional Engineer registration preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in the design of HVAC systems for industrial facilities required
  • Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools)
  • Knowledge of codes/standards related to the design of HVAC systems
  • Strong attention to detailย
