We are seeking a skilled and driven CAD Drafter with experience in tradeshow, millwork, cabinetry, or related fabrication environments. In this fast-paced role, you'll produce detailed drawings and technical documentation for tradeshow exhibit booths, corporate interiors, marketing event structures, and retail rollout programs.


No two projects are the same-this position is ideal for someone who enjoys creative problem solving and thinking on their feet.



The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:


  • Pivotal in translating design concepts into detailed technical drawings and 3D models using CAD software.
  • Collaborate closely with Project Engineers, Design Engineers, and builders, to ensure accurate communication of design intent.
  • Manage design files to prevent conflicts, prioritize tasks for project deadlines, and provide technical support during manufacturing, ensuring designs meet quality standards.
  • Use problem-solving skills to address design challenges and optimizing designs for functionality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Complete AutoCAD drawings (2D and 3D, technical, graphic, CNC, and setup) for assigned projects in a timely manner
  • Actively participate in internal project meetings, including project margin and variance reviews, new business production meetings and project debriefs
  • Complete daily reporting responsibilities
  • The ideal candidate for this job will possess a collaborative spirit, a commitment to exceeding client expectations, fanatical attention to detail, and an exceptional ability to manage assigned tasks and timelines.


Qualifications:


  • 2-year degree in drafting / design.
  • 1+ years of experience in CAD drafting (experience in retail, tradeshow or cabinetry strongly preferred)
  • Software proficiency (AutoCAD, Rhino, Autodesk Inventor)
