🚨 Electrical CAD Technician – Albuquerque, NM

PTS Advance is seeking an Electrical CAD Technician to support technical teams of detailers, designers, and engineers on a variety of projects. This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented CAD professional looking to build their skills and contribute to high-quality engineering and design projects.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

  • Assist detailers, designers, and engineers in developing high-quality CAD solutions.
  • Prepare and revise engineering drawings, basic components, and layouts from sketches or existing designs.
  • Prepare and revise plot drawings.
  • Assist with drafting design and project documentation.
  • Follow company and client drafting standards, procedures, and discipline-specific drafting practices.
  • Utilize standard CAD and drafting programs to complete project assignments.
  • Research project concerns and assist in recommending solutions to design problems.
  • Support continuous drafting and design improvement efforts.
  • Assist with special projects and other assignments as directed by management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned while complying with company policies and standards.

📋 Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED and coursework in Drafting Technology required.
  • AutoCAD experience required.
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills.
  • Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn, grow, and develop within the CAD field.
