About the Role

This is an opportunity for a CAD Design Coordinator / Senior Design Checker who wants to move beyond basic drawing review into deeper ownership of how equipment and structural systems are designed.


You’ll build strong technical expertise in the company’s products while serving as a key quality gate for design accuracy. Over time, this role expands into mentoring junior designers and helping coordinate/assign design work, becoming a trusted technical leader within the team.


Key Responsibilities

  • Review and verify 2D drawings and 3D models for accuracy, fit, and compliance with standards
  • Develop a strong understanding of mechanical equipment and structural system design
  • Work in both AutoCAD (2D) and Autodesk Inventor (3D) to support design development and validation
  • Interpret customer requirements and engineering specifications
  • Maintain and update models, assemblies, BOMs, and weight calculations
  • Collaborate with engineers and designers to resolve design issues
  • Support consistency in drafting and modeling standards
  • Mentor junior designers and assist with task coordination as experience grows
