    QES is seeking a talented CAD Technician to support our engineering, surveying, and landscape architecture teams by producing accurate, high‑quality technical drawings. If you have a sharp eye for detail, strong AutoCAD skills, and a passion for translating concepts into constructible plans, this role offers the opportunity to grow your technical career with a respected, mission‑driven firm.

    What You'll Do

    As a CAD Technician at QES, you'll play a key role in delivering projects that serve clients and communities alike. You will:

    • Create, edit, and maintain technical drawings and site plans using AutoCAD and Civil 3D
    • Interpret field notes, survey data, sketches, and engineering markups
    • Collaborate with engineers, surveyors, landscape architects, and project managers
    • Maintain drawing standards and ensure documentation complies with company and client requirements
    • Assist with submittals, permit packages, revisions, and project updates
    • Stay current with CAD software tools and industry best practices
    What You Bring
    • Associate degree or certification in CAD Technology, drafting, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
    • 1–3 years of experience in civil engineering, surveying, or architectural drafting preferred
