Job Overview Summary

The CAD Engineer in the security sector utilizes CAD software to design security products, infrastructure, and systems. They play a pivotal role in the design process by creating sophisticated models and drawings that meet both technical and security requirements. These designs will focus on security systems, infrastructure, and components. The role requires close collaboration with engineers and designers to translate technical concepts into clear and precise diagrams for manufacturing or construction purposes.

What you’ll be doing (and doing well!):
  • Design and develop security systems and components using CAD software.
  • Work with project teams to create and revise drawings and models.
  • Ensure designs meet security and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with the manufacturing team to ensure designs can be practically implemented.
  • Provide technical expertise to solve design challenges.
  • Update and maintain CAD libraries with new components and designs.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Pay Transparency Statement

The base salary range for this role is $66,800 - $115,400. Note that salary may vary based on location, skills, and experience and may vary from the amounts listed above. This position may also be eligible for a variable bonus in addition to base salary as well as health coverage, paid holidays, and other benefits.
