Job description

Summary Job Description

This position is responsible for producing digital CAD drawings of fabric upholstery patterns.

Essential Duties

  • Utilize various software applications formatting them as required to be utilized in nesting solutions for the automated cutting equipment
  • Works closely with the product development team
  • Must be detail oriented
  • Maintains a working knowledge of flow match cutting while ensuring all drawings maintained are of the latest revision.
  • Must have a full range of knowledge of the upholstery manufacturing process
  • Works with minimal supervision and able to meet deadlines
  • Overtime may be required at times
  • Must follow all safety policies and procedures
  • All other duties as assigned

Position Requirements

  • Basic CAD experience required
  • Basic computer experience required
  • Minimum 5 years in upholstery manufacturing with an understanding of pattern making and product development
