Job description

One of our clients is looking for a CAD Technician to add to their growing team!

Responsibilities:

  • Work with sales and electrical engineers in preparing initial job submittals and site layouts for customers.
  • Prepare detailed blueprints and diagrams of generator enclosures, including dimensions and fastening methods.
  • Work with shop manufacturing, purchasing and sales to resolve all design issues.
  • Document any additional work completed in shop.
  • Create instruction manuals and kits as required in the field.
  • Investigate and document product design changes / improvements.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of related experience.
  • Must have experience in 2D AutoCAD software.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Excel.
  • Revit experience a plus
  • 3-D modeling a plus
  • Must have good communication skills.
