Job description

Description:

  • 100% onsite at Muskegon - to interact with the engineering and construction teams that will be submitting red lined drawings
  • Looking for someone who can come in and do some drawing updates (AutoCAD) and follow instructions for storing documents and drawings in the engineering file storage system (Autodesk Vault).
  • Required to have a two year technical degree or equivalent certification.
  • Required to experience preparing engineering facility drawings.
  • Prepares engineering drawings to support conceptual designs developed by engineers. Required to have demonstrated proficiency using CAD software or other design software. Creates and updates sketches, working drawings and contract documents using Computer Assisted Design (CAD) software. Prepares 2D and 3D models.
  • Must be able to read and comprehend detailed customer requirements, data sheets and supplier specifications. Requires familiarity with drafting techniques and engineering concepts and terminology. Able to read engineering drawing and blueprints. Prepares documentation to support design drawings. Often requires experience with the specific design application in use by client.
