Job description

Paragon Engineering Services is a professional engineering firm that provides mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineering services to contractors, architects, owners and other engineering firms. We offer competitive and quality services to clients in the commercial, corporate, government, healthcare, industrial, telecommunications and utility markets.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Work directly with engineers to produce drawings from sketches, existing drawings and electronic images.
  • Electrical design by assignment.
  • Design systems based on written and verbal descriptions from engineers that meet all requirements.
  • Inter-discipline coordination with all departments and customers to ensure that the drawings convey the correct information and are error free.
  • Work from customer drawings, company drawings, or specifications.
  • Provide basic calculations, field survey, and construction administration support.
  • Drafting in AutoCAD and/or REVIT.
Education and Experience:
  • Degree from a recognized training facility, or equivalent experience with Auto-CAD and REVIT.
  • 3 years experience in drawing/designing using Auto-CAD and REVIT.
  • Able to work with minimum supervision and capable of self-checking for completeness and accuracy of work produced.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Must be a self-starter and able to contribute in design reviews.
