About the Opportunity
Specialized Recruiting Group is seeking a CAD Drafter for a confidential opportunity with an industrial and specialty construction contractor in Southwest Wisconsin. This company focuses on highly controlled environments including cold storage facilities, food processing plants, and clean room construction.
This role supports both construction and manufacturing projects through detailed drafting work. The CAD Drafter will contribute to project execution by developing accurate drawings used for planning, fabrication, and installation. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys structured design work and collaborating with both office and field teams.
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed 2D construction drawings including floor plans and layouts
- Create manufacturing and fabrication drawings to support production
- Produce design details for construction and installation teams
- Assist with marketing and presentation drawings as needed
- Update and revise drawings based on engineering and field feedback
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and organization across all documentation
- Collaborate with internal teams to support project timelines and execution
Qualifications
- Proficiency in AutoCAD LT
- Experience with SolidWorks (primarily 2D drafting)
- Understanding of construction and/or manufacturing drawings
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering plans
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently in a structured, deadline-driven environment
