Purpose
The Computer-Aided Design (CAD) Designer will be responsible for creating precise technical drawings, making modifications to existing drawings, modeling basic parts, and maintaining CAD files and related documentation.
Responsibilities
  • Develop detailed technical drawings and 3D models with precision and accuracy.
  • Update and revise existing drawings to reflect changes and modifications.
  • Maintain organized CAD files and documentation for ongoing projects.
  • Oversee document control for released drawings and Bill of Materials.
  • Collaborate with engineers and designers to interpret design concepts.
  • Other related functions as assigned.

Required Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in CAD design, drafting, or related fields.
  • Proficiency in CAD software.
  • Basic understanding of engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
  • Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) and ISO drafting standards.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate's degree or higher
  • Additional certifications in CAD software or design principles
  • Experience in the semiconductor industry
  • Proficiency in Creo
  • Familiarity with PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) software
  • Experience with fabricated part procurement and vendor discussions

Work Shift
  • Monday to Friday 40 hours per week.

Employment Eligibility:

Retirement Plan Eligibility:
