• Create fixture, jig, sub-assembly, fabrication, and manufacturing-aid drawings

• Develop contractor-ready packages for bidding, procurement, fabrication, construction, and installation

• Define equipment locations, utility routing, tie-in points, dimensions, elevations, access clearances, and installation constraints

• Develop assembly drawings, fabrication drawings, BOMs, parts lists, and vendor/contractor packages

• Incorporate engineering markups, contractor redlines, field verification, and as-built changes

• Perform field walkdowns to verify existing conditions and identify potential layout or constructability issues

• Experience creating manufacturing-ready and construction-ready drawing packages

• Ability to interpret mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, piping, utility, facility, and vendor drawings

• Experience with drawing standards, revision control, title blocks, layers, naming conventions, and release workflows

• Ability to incorporate field verification, redlines, and as-built changes into drawings

Fabrication & Technical Experience:

• Understanding of datum structures, dimensional tolerances, weld symbols, materials, finishes, and fabrication requirements

• Ability to translate engineering concepts, sketches, field conditions, and project requirements into complete fabrication and installation packages

• Understanding of equipment access, service clearances, utility routing, installation constraints, and equipment removal paths

The ideal Senior CAD Designer is highly detail-oriented, takes ownership of schedules and deliverables, and can manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
