We specialize in the design of single and multi-family developments as well as commercial projects. Our team works with clients and jurisdictions to transform small and large tracts of land into completed developments. This includes land planning, zoning assistance, land surveying, color exhibits, preparation of construction plans, plats, construction staking, and as-builts. We work with clients and their design team throughout the entire process culminating in final completion of construction. Summary Job Statement

Team members in the development team are responsible for preparing detailed construction plan documents for both residential and commercial projects. Their work includes, but is not limited to, designing plans for streets, sanitary systems, stormwater management, erosion control, utilities, and grading. Their expertise ensures all aspects of the construction process are thoroughly documented, enabling smooth project execution while meeting regulatory standards.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Technical Drawing, Drawing, and Computer-Aided Design (CAD)
  • Experience in creating and interpreting Construction Drawings and Design Engineering plans
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to produce highly accurate technical documentation
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Civil 3D is essential
  • 3+ years of professional experience in CAD design, preferably in land development or construction
  • Associate degree in CAD drafting, Engineering Technology, or a related field is preferred

Essential Functions

  • Generate grading design in Autodesk Civil 3D.
  • Analyze markups, notes and other input material to determine and plan the best approach to develop and complete drawings with minimal supervision.
  • Execute project drawings using Autodesk Civil 3D to produce legible and technically correct drawings in a cost-efficient manner.
  • Make revisions to existing drawings from verbal explanations and revise complex drawings from markups.
  • Assist Engineers in producing design and construction documents.
  • Consistently implement Stoeppelwerth & Associates design/drawing standards and processes including sheet setups, layers, linetypes and file systems.
  • Possess an outgoing and positive attitude, are dependable with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team to meet deadlines and provide a high quality of work.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
