CAD Engineer

Location: Greensboro, North Carolina (5 days onsite)

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-driven CAD Engineer to bring creativity and precision to our trade show booth and display designs. You’ll transform concepts into technical drawings, CNC files, and 3D models that guide our internal teams and vendors through flawless production and setup.

Key Responsibilities

1. 3D Modeling

• Create accurate 3D models in SolidWorks that match client-approved renderings and cost sheets.

• Ensure models are clearly labeled and easy to reference.

Success Metrics:

• Approval rate from Project Managers

• Accuracy against cost sheets 

• Reduction in avoidable reworks

2. Technical Drafting

• Develop technical drawings for manufacturing teams detailing build, setup, and packing instructions.

• Produce separate specs for graphics and fabrication departments.

• Generate CNC files for precise cutting instructions.

• Create vendor-ready drawings and comprehensive Bills of Materials.

• Accuracy of Bills of Materials

• Compliance with industry standards

• Minimal production questions and timeline delays

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
