Join CEC in Oklahoma City, as an Experienced Land Surveying CAD Technician!

Are you an experienced Land Surveying CAD Technician ready to take on a new challenge? Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) in Oklahoma City, is seeking an Experienced Land Surveying CAD Technician to join our dynamic and multidisciplinary team. Our office is a hub for a wide range of complex projects, and you will play a critical role in bringing them to life through precise and detailed drafting.

What You'll Do:

As an Experienced Land Surveying CAD Technician, you will be an essential part of our team, responsible for leveraging your expertise in drafting and data management to produce high-quality deliverables. Your core responsibilities will include:

  • Drafting & Mapping: Creating detailed survey drawings and maps using AutoCAD Civil 3D. You'll be responsible for the full range of surveying products, including ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys, Boundary Surveys, Topographic Surveys, and Route Surveys.
  • Data Processing: Downloading, processing, and analyzing raw field data using surveying software, including Trimble Business Center (TBC). You will handle control networks, field notes, and coordinate geometry computations to ensure accuracy and integrity.
  • Platting & Easements: Preparing plats, legal descriptions, and easement exhibits for land subdivisions and conveyances.
  • Collaboration: Working closely with our field crews, project managers, and professional land surveyors to translate field data into professional, client-ready documents.
  • Quality Assurance: Performing quality control checks on all drawings to ensure they meet CEC's high standards and adhere to project specifications.

  • 3+ years of AutoCAD and AutoCAD Civil experience
  • Demonstrated experience processing survey data using Trimble Business Center preferred
  • Experience conducting field surveys preferred
