Job description

Job Description:
As a CAD Designer, you will play a key role in the development and refinement of parts and assemblies optimized for cost-effective and efficient manufacturing and assembly processes. You will work closely with engineers, manufacturing teams, and suppliers to develop 3D models, 2D drawings, and assembly documentation for new and existing products.
Required Skills:
  • 4+ years experience in creating and modifying CAD models
  • CAD software required - Creo
  • Able to conduct simple design calculations to confirm concept ready for FEA
  • Able to conduct design reviews and clearly articulate how requirements have been fulfilled in the design
  • Able to create BOM and save changes into Team Center - release ECO's
  • Create and release CAD drawings
  • May work on rotomolded tanks (fuel & DEF) - take concept model to maturity to support FEA analysis
  • May work on hood and accent panels. May require the use of surfacing to create a CAD model from shared "A" surface supplied to the design team from industrial styling
  • May work on electrical harness retention brackets
  • May work on issue corrections and clean-ups from mule build issues
  • May work on documentation to support product plumbing , routing, and/or mechanical structures (maybe CAD concept creation) as related to the liquid plumbing system (bed)
