This could include but not limited to the following... horizontal layout of duct, pipe, conduits, elevations, sleeves, wall layout, hangers etc. Essential Functions:Working in the field environmentAssisting field crews as well as other customers with layoutAbility to use CAD softwareAbility to use Trimble software and hardware3D spatial visualization/thinking skills a mustMust possess strong problem solving skillsMaintaining equipment on a daily basis and staying current with the annual calibrationOther duties as assigned Supervisory Responsibility: No Required:2-3 years experience in surveying and/or equivalent combination of vocational training and experienceTwo years CAD experienceMust have strong computer skills and have experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPointCurrent valid driver's license Must possess good work ethic and be accountable for deadlinesMust be a self-starterAbility to work and communicate with othersMust have acceptable driving record Work Environment: May work in varying temperatures; both inside and outside, including inclement weather, heat, humidity, cold and dampnessMay work in areas with exposure to moderate/high noise levelsMay be exposed to fumes or airborne particles including dustMay be required to work in confined spaces or from high heights Travel:May require travel (typically not overnight) Preferred:Prior military experience HS diploma or GED equivalent Field Engineer - Trimble Designer CAD
