Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain complete and accurate BIM models based on sketches, specifications, and contract documents provided by project coordinators
- Prepare detailed installation drawings and bill of materials from the BIM models using approved drafting standards.
- Review, manage, and manipulate electronic design files
- Update models and drawings to reflect as-built conditions
- Coordinate with Mechanical, Civil, and Electrical disciplines to integrate project features into unified BIM models
- Interface with project team members to understand and implement project requirements
- Support ongoing project coordination and constructability efforts through effective modeling practices
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum 5+ years of experience with BIM platforms including Revit and Navisworks
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD Plant 3D and/or Civil 3D
Knowledge & Experience:
- Understanding of pipe systems, mechanical layouts, and industrial construction processes
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents, drawings, and specifications
- Strong experience with 3D modeling workflows in a construction or industrial environment
Soft Skills:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- High attention to detail and accuracy
