At a well-established manufacturer in St. Charles, IL, you’ll start your day opening a proven 3D assembly, update dimensions to match a customer’s spec, add the right accessories, and turn it into a complete, production-ready drawing package. By afternoon, your updated BOMs are synced with the ERP, Manufacturing has what they need, and another custom-engineered lifting system is on its way to the shop floor.

What you’ll handle
- Customize existing 3D models and assemblies to align with customer requirements
- Produce and revise detailed engineering drawings used for manufacturing
- Generate and maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs)
- Assemble thorough, error-free drawing packages for production
- Partner closely with Engineering and Manufacturing to keep documentation complete and correct
- Master our products, engineering standards, and ERP while taking on more complex projects over time
What you bring
Required
- 0–5+ years of drafting, CAD, or engineering experience
- Hands-on experience building and editing 3D models and assemblies in SolidWorks, Inventor, Siemens NX, or similar 3D CAD tools
- Fundamental knowledge of mechanical drawings, assemblies, and engineering documentation
- Strong computer aptitude and the ability to learn new engineering and ERP software
- Mechanical curiosity and a growth mindset
Preferred
- Associate’s degree in Drafting, CAD Technology, Mechanical Design, or a related discipline
- Background creating BOMs or other manufacturing documentation

Location, schedule, and pay
- Location: St. Charles, IL
- Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Pay: $25–$28/hour (flexibility up to $30/hour based on experience)
