Job description

Description
MSG is seeking a Structural CAD Technician to support our transportation team in Monroe, Michigan. An education and general experience in Civil Engineering as well as AutoCAD / Civil 3D and Microstation platforms is required. Candidates must have organizational and time management skills, as well as the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and to multi-task and be flexible while working in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Production Assistance in both CAD Platforms and multiple business sectors
  • CAD / drafting for engineering support to produce detailed plans ready for construction
  • Emphasis will be on bridge and structures but may also include various other civil site design projects.
  • Project assignments will predominately be from Michigan and Ohio, with additional other state assignments possible.


Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microstation.
  • Ability to stay organized and maintain accountability of project documentation.
  • Understanding or willingness to learn about client deadlines and requirements.
