Job description

Description

Duties:  

  • Create accurate and detailed plan sheets including but not limited to: Title, Index, Typical Cross Sections, Maintenance of Traffic Details, Plan & Profiles, Details, and Cross-Section sheets  
  • Prepare various components of road construction plans via "mark-ups/redlines."  
  • Prepare "display" materials for Public meetings.  
  • Maintain the confidentiality of information regarding clients and company practices.  
  • Perform other duties as assigned.  

Requirements

Education: 

  • Associate degree in CAD or completion of a 2-year CAD program  


Skills:  

  • Proficient with a computer and AutoCAD 2004 or higher software  
  • Possess good communication skills.  
  • Able to interpret and complete "mark-ups/redlines" to Plan sheets  
  • Able to work within a "team" concept  
  • Able to meet deadlines  


Physical Requirements:  

  • Able to work seated 9 or more hours per workday  
  • Able to work 40 or more hours per work week as needed  
  • Able to work outdoors traversing uneven or difficult terrain
