The main difference between a Computer Aided Design Apprentice and a CAD Technician is experience and responsibility. Apprentices are in training, gaining foundational skills, while CAD Technicians are experienced professionals working on actual projects. Apprentices often work under supervision, whereas CAD Technicians operate more independently, contributing directly to project deliverables.
The role is responsible for preparing CAD drawings for a variety of projects on a fluctuating schedule. Helping to prep field crew data and maintain communication with field crews and project managers. Help maintain accurate records and research as needed.

Personal transportation is required. Dress code is casual and laid back with a slightly more formal attire required only for specific occasions with prior announcement. The work environment is an open office environment that has extremely limited contact with the public.
