Job Description

The Mobile Device Sr Administrator must be knowledgeable on usage & support of a collection of mobile platforms and products that run on those platforms. The Mobile Device Administrator will service all smartphones, tablets, and other related devices, including Android, Windows Mobile, and iOS devices. The Mobile Device Administrator will also serve as a hardware, software, and OS specialist to configure, deploy, manage, track, and audit mobile devices.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

In coordination with stakeholders implements the corporate mobile device strategy

Acts as the company's SME surrounding mobile device technologies

Performs Level 2 or higher support for all mobile devices

Implements and maintains the mobile devices inventory

Manages and optimizes the Mobile Device Management (MDM) and Mobile Application Management (MAM) solution(s)

Meets with IT staff and end-users to gather business and system requirements

Manages OS (iOS and Android) and application upgrades

Manages, tests, and provisions mobile applications, profiles, and policies

Assists with wireless carrier inquiries, plan changes, service support, etc.

Investigates and implements further mobility functionalities and improvements

May work on other projects or assignments, as needed

Analyze and resolve complex problems associated with server hardware, applications and software integration

Qualifications

Required: 

o Experience managing mobile devices for medium-large business is required

o 2 - 3 years of experience with Mobile Device Management solutions is required

o Expert Knowledge and ability to support IOS is required

o Experience with managing and deploying in-house IOS apps is highly preferred

o Understanding of wireless carrier services, service plans, procurement, and features

o Hardware inventory management, audit, and process controls

o Security audit remediation and reporting

o Optimize system operations and resource utilization, and perform system capacity analysis and planning

o Provide in-depth experience in trouble-shooting IT systems

o Experience with direct customer interaction. 

o Executing device software updates

o Drafting and maintaining support documentation

o Ability to support users in a remote location

o Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems

Preferred:

o Experience with IOS APP development is a plus

o IOS and or ANDROID certification is highly preferred

o Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Technical related field or equivalent work experience.

o At least 3 - 5 years IT industry experience 

o Experience in a 3 - 5 years Healthcare environment a plus
