We're hiring a full-time Service Technician/ Fleet Administrator in Drummondville, QC. This role is 100% in the office.

We're looking for a hands-on, highly organized Service Technician / Fleet Administrator to join our team in Drummondville, QC. This unique hybrid role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their day - balancing office-based coordination and scheduling with active, on-site service and maintenance work. As a key member of the branch team, you'll help ensure our modular fleet assets are customer-ready, well-maintained, and moving efficiently through every stage of the rental lifecycle. From coordinating transportation logistics and managing fleet documentation to performing inspections, repairs, and yard maintenance, this role plays an important part in delivering exceptional service to our customers.

The ideal candidate is bilingual in French and English, thrives in both office and outdoor environments, and brings a strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and team-first attitude. You are organized, adaptable, comfortable with physical work in all weather conditions, and confident managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.

Duties & Responsibilities :

Fleet Administration & Coordination

  • Maintain the transportation calendar and coordinate with vendors for transport, installation, dismantle, and return of units.
  • Create and manage Purchase Orders (POs) and Bills of Lading (BOLs).
  • Contact customers and vendors for daily scheduling.
  • Maintain Fleet Activity Reports.
  • Coordinate billing with the CA.
  • Coordinate transport of fleet units from manufacturer to branch, including tracking, POs, and BOLs.
  • Manage and update new fleet production schedules to coordinate transport.
  • Ensure transport companies have all required paperwork and signed BOLs are returned.
  • Monitor warranty items with manufacturers.
  • Monitor daily fleet activity to ensure units move in and out of the yard as scheduled.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual fleet count reports and water intrusion reports.
  • Process AFTs (Approval for Transfer) and monitor fleet asset locations.
  • Maintain fleet and materials inventory.
  • Some travel may be required to remote yards or branch locations.

Service & Maintenance Duties

  • Perform cleaning, maintenance, and repair of modular units to ensure readiness for customers.
  • Complete general labor duties including cleaning, painting, and moving units in the yard.
  • Conduct quality control inspections on outbound trailers.
  • Load and unload decks, ramps, furniture, and other items as needed.
  • Work closely with the Fleet Administrator to provide updates on fleet condition.
  • Manage warehouse inventory and shelving systems.
  • Assist in planning for upcoming projects.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • 2-4 years of working in construction and/or maintenance experience.
  • Fluently bilingual in French and English
  • Experience with modular buildings, trailers, or RVs is an asset.
  • 1-2 years of working in an office space environment.
  • Ability to switch from a construction environment to an office environment as required
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive attitude with strong work ethic and team-player mindset.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable using a tablet, computer, Microsoft outlook, excel, Word and Adobe (PDF).
  • Willingness to travel locally to customer sites during work hours.
  • Fall protection, First Aid certification, and WHMIS are assets.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment criminal record check and Drug & Alcohol testing.
