Overview Description

The Operations Coordinator is responsible for documenting pick up and delivery freight data, monitoring drivers' performance, and ensuring customer timelines are adhered to. 

How You'll Help

  • Ensure driver concerns reported to dispatch are responded to and closed off within reasonable or expected timelines. 
  • Arrange daily deliveries, assign pick-up requests, and enter orders in the computer.
  • Do a dock and yard check, ensure freight is not missed, and trucks are on schedule.
  • Perform Yard consolidations, including checking what is in the trailers.

Skills & Experience: 

  • Strong administrative skills.
  • Computer literate in Excel and Word
  • High School graduate or equivalent
