As a Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for our IT infrastructure, ensuring its smooth operation, stability, and security.


Key Responsibilities:

Design, architect, and implement robust, scalable solutions for physical and virtual servers, optimizing performance and meeting business needs.

Implement and enforce a comprehensive security posture encompassing user access controls, data encryption, disaster recovery procedures, and staying vigilant against evolving threats.

Create, manage, and secure user accounts and groups within Active Directory or a similar directory service, ensuring proper permissions and access controls.

Proactively monitor system health and performance using monitoring tools, identifying and resolving potential issues before they disrupt operations.

Automate routine tasks using scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash) to improve efficiency and free up time for more strategic initiatives.

Stay up-to-date with the latest IT trends and best practices through continuous learning. Provide technical guidance and support to the IT Technician team, fostering collaboration and knowledge transfer. Document IT processes and procedures for clear communication and future reference.


Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Systems Administrator.
Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
Experience working in a virtual environment. (VMWare)
In-depth experience with server administration (Windows Server and Linux).
Experience with Active Directory or a similar directory service (required).
Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash).
