We provide traffic control, on-street services, and signage products and services across Canada, currently operating out of offices in Edmonton, Calgary, Regina, Saskatoon, Langley, Kamloops, Brandon, Winnipeg and Mississauga.

About the Position

ATS Traffic is looking for a skilled Traffic Control Administration on a season contract basis to work with OSS Managers, Coordinators, and Dispatchers regarding opening, closing, and invoicing all traffic control jobs for the upcoming 2026 season. The successful incumbent will utilize their customer service skills to address customer questions and concerns. 

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and problem-solving skills in order to locate lost equipment, find missing information and documentation, and ensure all information is captured prior to closing and invoicing jobs. Strong computer skills and telephone etiquette is a must!

Responsibilities

Traffic Control Administration (seasonal) duties include, but are not limited to:  

  • Follow all processes to ensure data is entered correctly on estimates and orders
  • Work with Traffic Control Manager, Supervisors, Administrator, Rental CSPs, Dispatcher, etc. regarding opening, closing, and invoicing all traffic control and rental jobs
  • Customer service: emailing invoices, reconciling invoices with customers
  • Handle inquiries for estimates and orders
  • Problem-solving: lost equipment, missing information, missing documentation, etc. to ensure all information is captured after closing/invoicing the job
  • Create a pleasant experience for customers by addressing questions and concerns
  • Other administrative duties as required

It is essential that the applicant have a reliable vehicle to get to/from work each day as our location does not have Transit available. 

Qualifications
  • At least 2 years of experience in the field or in a related area

  • High school diploma; additional qualifications as an Office Administrator are a plus
  • Proficient in MS Office

  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.

  • Professional presence, ability to build relationships and exhibit influence
  • Natural problem-solver
  • Self-driven to get desired results
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong emphasis on customer service
