Must-Have: Familiarity with TeraRecon 3D workstation preferred.
Description:
Hiring process includes a profile review and an interview with the unit manager.
The department has 3 scanners and 3 rooms available.
No floating to other areas is required.
All basic CT exams are performed, with CCTAs and TAVR as optional studies.
Average number of scans per day is approximately 100 over a 24-hour period.
The electronic medical record system used is EPIC, with Fuji PACS (Synapse) for imaging.
Department equipment includes GE Revolution 256, GE Revolution EVO, and GE HD 750.
Staffing includes a CT Lead Technologist.
There are no Registered Radiology Assistants, but after-hours radiologic tech assistants assist with transport and call coverage.
Radiologists may be in-house or remote.
Starting IVs is a required duty for this position.
Self-scheduling is not allowed.
Voluntary weekend and holiday shifts may be required.
On-call response time is preferred to be within 30-45 minutes.
Solid color scrubs are required; scrubs are not provided.
Department-specific orientation occurs during the first full week.
The cancellation policy allows for the cancellation of up to 4 shifts for assignments of 13 weeks.
