Applications Developer (Level 3)
G2IT is seeking an experienced Applications Developer (Level 3) to support the design, development, testing, and maintenance of web-based applications and ITSM platform solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive application development experience, including direct development and integration experience within ServiceNow and/or BMC environments, and the ability to develop complex, scalable software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain web-based applications.
  • Develop and enhance ServiceNow/BMC workflows, portals, and self-service capabilities.
  • Design and implement APIs, automation, and integrations directly within ITSM platforms.
  • Develop applications using programming languages and technologies such as C#, VB.NET, and JavaScript.
  • Write clean, efficient, maintainable, and scalable code.
  • Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application and software issues.
  • Perform application testing to ensure functionality, performance, and reliability.
  • Design and develop complex software solutions based on technical and business requirements.
  • Support ongoing application enhancements and improvements.
Required Qualifications
  • Must hold an active Top Secret (TS) security clearance and be eligible for TS/SCI access.
  • 8+ years of experience designing and developing web-based applications.
  • Experience with ITSM platform development and integration, including ServiceNow and/or BMC workflows, portals/self-service, APIs, automation, and integrations.
  • Extensive application development experience using C#, VB.NET, JavaScript, or similar web programming technologies.
  • Strong understanding of clean and scalable software development practices.
  • Experience debugging, testing, and troubleshooting applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop complex software solutions.
  • Must hold at least one of the following certifications:
    • CompTIA Security+ CE
    • CISSP
    • CASP or equivalent
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is desired.
