Our services improve Information System networking performance and compliance and protect electronic assets from loss and compromise. Job Overview: Available Immediately
Introduction:
The Customer serves as the focal point for coordinating, planning, developing, supporting, and executing cyber research and tasking. Customer requires an applications developer to perform Agile based Operations & Maintenance (O&M), for a Tasking Portal housed in a Cloud environment. The tasking portal allows for end users to input requests and specific data for data collection.
Work Requirements:
The Contractor shall perform day to day tasks such as bug fixes and enhancement releases. The Contractor shall gather and assist in the preparation of requirements based on customer needs. The Contractor shall analyze requirements and translate them to both user stories and development tasks. The Contractor shall prepare documentation such as program, user, and security documentation. The Contractor shall develop and maintain software applications, including web applications and user interfaces. The Contractor shall develop in a cloud environment. The Contractor shall enhance software to improve efficiency.
Required skills and demonstrated experience:
  • Demonstrated experience with Agile methodology from inception through integration and deployment.
  • Demonstrated experience with supporting production systems and assisting customers with timely issue resolution.
  • Demonstrated experience with gathering and identifying technical requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience with Cloud infrastructure like Amazon Web Services or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated experience developing JavaScript web services using Node.js, to include ExpressJS applications and Micro Services.
  • Demonstrated experience with Representational State Transfer (REST) APIs, Spring Model View Controller (MVC), and Spring Boot.
  • Demonstrated experience with Web Application Programming to include developing JavaScript, HTML, or CSS web user interfaces.
  • Demonstrated experience with web UI frameworks such as React or Extended JavaScript (ExtJS).
  • Demonstrated experience developing Java-based APIs.
  • Demonstrated experience deploying and maintaining APIs on AWS infrastructure.
  • Demonstrated experience with Back-End API, integrating, operating, or deploying MySQL.
  • Demonstrated experience with Front-End UI/UX JavaScript UI framework(s) such as Angular, React, or Vue.

Highly desired, though not required, include:
  • Demonstrated experience with establishing data, performance, and communications objectives for prototype systems.
  • Demonstrated experience understanding the Customer's Cloud environment.
  • Demonstrated experience understanding the Customer's data architecture.
  • Demonstrated experience understanding the Customer's application environment.
  • Demonstrated experience with Back-End SecDevOps principles and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Demonstrated experience with Back-End Container technologies such as Docker.
  • Demonstrated experience with Front-End UX design frameworks such as Bootstrap or Material Design.

Security Clearance:
  • The successful candidate must have an active U.S. Government Top Secret Security Clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph.

Travel:
  • This position is expected to be onsite. The position will be located within the Washington Metropolitan Area (WMA). Local travel/POV will be on an as needed basis, within the local place of performance.
